It’s like my heart and my mind are at war
Constantly fighting each other
Making it hard to choose between what I want Or what’s good for me
I’m not even sure what I want anymore

I constantly overthink. I will even overthink my overthinking. Sometimes logic and that gut feeling don’t line up forcing you to choose. It’s much harder when you overthink your decision, knowing one wrong move could put you right back where you started. This poem is about that.
