Life after Death
I am not scared of death
The only time I have been on its brink was in my absence of you
It was here that I counted the seconds
And dreaded the time
Without time
Or even with time
I wouldn’t realize how many seconds
Hours
Days
I've dreamed about being with you
As we have crossed paths
Intertwined our minds ideas and hopes
I am not scared of death
I am scared that I will not be able to share it with you
As time goes on
And our young bodies grow old
I hope the light at the end of the tunnel holds a silhouette of you
For there is no point in an afterlife if I cannot spend it with you
