The snowman and the little girl

One dark and gloomy night

A little girl started walking

In the deep snow

Nowhere to go

She never stopped

Not even one time

She let out a sigh

And kept walking the night

The girl came across a snowman

Whose scarf was crimson red

Like the moon in the sky

She saw that he had no nose

Not a carrot

Or a button

Or a little coal

The girl walked to a shop

And went for a quick stop

She picked up a carrot

As a gift for the snowman

what she did not know was

The snowman would start melting

And by the time she would get back

He’d be gone…

The girl walked back

saw the sun was up

Shining ever so brightly

Like always her bones were weak

But did the best she could to walk

The girl rushed to the snowman

As fast as she could

as he was melting

she caught a glimpse of a smile

And felt the snowman’s warm heart

She gave him the carrot as he melted

And sat with him until he was gone

The snowman that gave her hope

for this cruel world

She felt heartbroken for him

She thought she would never

See the snowman again.

the pain she had was getting worse

Until the next snowy winter day,

She was walking

And came across a snowman

With a carrot nose

She knew from the first look

It was her snowman…

Very mysterious but warm poem! This warm poem will definitely melt the snowman once again...
