Night Flight
Amidst the stillness of the night,
A solitary owl takes flight,
Its wings outstretched, it soars on high,
Silently cutting through the sky.
Beneath the moon's soft, glowing light,
The world seems hushed, devoid of strife,
As though the universe conspires,
To give us peace, to calm our fires.
But in this quiet, peaceful scene,
There lies a beauty yet unseen,
The rustling leaves, the gentle breeze,
The rustling of the autumn trees.
And as the owl takes flight once more,
And vanishes into the night's core,
We're left with the knowledge that we,
Are but a small part of eternity.
