My own worst enemy
My opponent stands on the other side of that wall
Her slender arms pack a mean punch
A stiff brick i recall
When my bones made a crunch
When she made me crumple with one punch
The goosebumps creep around me
Encompassing my being
My tight fist soon produces white knuckles
I know i can flee
It would be better for my well being
Yet my conscious won't buckle
I raise my hand
Ready to face my enemy
To bring down the beast
But as I do
Her hand copies
As I place my slender arm back at my side
Hers keeps up in stride
No doubt in real time
I gaze into the eyes of the challenger
Inept at harassing her
And realize I know those eyes
And the punch that comes with them
