I just awoke...
My tired eyes awake in the morning,
sunlight filtering through my opened window.
Waves of kind wind brush my cheek,
coloring my face a light pink shade.
Oh! I remember my dream!
There was blue sand along the streets
And angry red crabs danced in it brilliantly!
Oh! There was something else too!
A young, beautiful woman in a dress…
But the dress I do not recall the color of.
Oh! How the day was so bright!
Or was it a dark, starry night?
Just as soon as I seize these nightly images,
they float away into the morning sunrise,
leaving behind a trail of frail flowers
far too fragile for me to grasp.
