Consumed
As the sun smiles down
And the wind whispers in my ear
Telling me sweet sweet secrets
I think about this happy earth
It’s moody seasons
A fierce winter
Happy summer
And jealous spring
I want them to consume me
Eat me whole
To be one with nature
And nature one with me
And as the moon rises
Smirking down
Watching over the people of earth
And the darkness chills my skin
Telling me deep dark secrets
I think about this sad earth
Its extreme cases
A plague on it’s back
It’s face riddled with scum
Killing it slowly
It wants to consume us
Eat us whole
Not to be with us
But to get rid
