Redundant
My body is redundant
It reeks of reckless recreation
It is glass fragile and frail
In a moment it can be shattered
Risking my life crossing a road
A dangerous endeavor
Seemingly responsible choices become threats
I have cracks and chips covering my crevasses
Constantly looking over my shoulder
Waiting for the next
My body is inescapable
Until one day its not
That day i dread
My redundant body gone
Swept from under my feet
Broken china on the floor
For now i wait
Enduring these endeavors
Looking over my shoulder
To keep this reckless body
recognizable
