That perfect time, even if just for a second
It lasts, is more beautiful than the most
Expensive Swarovski diamond. That golden hour
Where all is a mix, twisting and combining
The pink, sweet like candy,
Bringing warmth to my soul.
The orange, zesty like it’s fruit.
Purple, relaxing and cool, the twilight
Zone of my heart.
The golden hour, where all I feel
Is the safety that I yearn for.
The golden hour which allows me to
Forget, yet remember all.
The golden hour which my heart feels
The most complete and whole, that
Golden hour

This piece was written to represent the feelings that the human will most likely feel in a time of peace and calm. The example I chose for this particular moment was a sunset, hence the title, “Golden Hour”.
