Midweek Procrastination
Projected project
My mind rejects
As if it’s a speck
the due date is next Tuesday
Sounds like else’s business
Project at east while I’m at west
Don’t feel real, like wiz, myth
Next and next day arrives
Perplexing text feels disguised
Project says, I have more time
Although after while,
Notification will chime
Conviction of ill crime
Last day to work
Last day to lurk
On the internet, I duck
To avoid the work
Already nighttime, 11:30 PM
The right time to DM
To my friends
Couple of minutes then it ends
Then it comes back like a fiend
Finally, finally
Proud of myself
Started the itinerary
After the passing of hour twelfth
Stop with the hocus pocus and the ruckus
It’s time to focus
My eyes on fire
Mind tries to evacuate this ire
Not a drill, it’s dire
Supposed to be five hours,
Finished in two
Just before my sleepiness towers
I submit it soon
Brazen procrastination
‘Cause, even pro’s crass in nature

This was inspired by how I feel academic pressure in school. Even though many try to hide it, I'm sure many can relate to me on how I feel.
