Together in Never
we are together in never
and he who loves heaven
and in the sky sees seven
will never know what it’s like
to have it all
and have it fall
and he who loves me
loves nothing
and he who loves no one
has all of himself still to give
and he who believes himself
nothing and nobody
has all of himself still to find
undefined—
I’m all of nobody
I love myself
for having no name
no label fits this awkward little package
crazy and nothing
I love, I love
love, love, love.
nothing makes sense in life
reality’s tattered sewing
I think anything and everything
all day and all night
nothing makes sense
so let everyone inside
it is our common right
you who are sorrowful
and strange and crazy and kind
come crashing, passion
compassion.
and you can have
all of me.

This poem is a statement of acceptance for the Never and the Nothing in my life.
