Goodbye Isn’t Forever
Goodbye isn't forever
It isn’t decreed either
When we say goodbye we feel a wind of emotions
None are one in the same
When we say goodbye we wonder
Will the one we are parting return?
Will they keep the promise once sealed in the sand?
Will the years grow on and they move on?
Without the faintest of a memory of that time shared?
Goodbye isn't forever
For we still say a new hello
The time may be different
From what we saw it was
But that's because time moves
Faster than what we dare to remember
But our hearts will remain the same
Yet still moved
Even as we lose
No one says goodbye unless they won't see you again
It's a hidden promise, see?
And that's the beauty
Of goodbye
