Afternoon Seasons
Afternoon is biking on a path through the fields
Colorful with flowers only just revealed
Afternoon is sitting in a tall, leafy tree
While the sun slowly sinks and the birds surround me
Afternoon is breathing in the crisp autumn air
Holding a hot cider with a friend to share
Afternoon is watching as the snow softly falls
And a warm paper book in my hands softly calls
Afternoon is beauty, and peace, and light
And the calm in between the morning and night
Afternoon is winter, and summer, and spring
And autumn, and everything in between
