Procrastination
My room is a disaster
my homework isn't done
a rough-draft essay,
due Tuesday,
is still in outline form.
It'd be fine if it was Thursday,
Friday, even Saturday,
but here it is Sunday,
five o'clock, P.M.
I've been formulating excuses
for the things I have not done,
but the list is too long
for any of them to be
believed.
What am I to do? I ask,
What am I to do?
But to answer myself,
the only words I say
are I have no clue.

I am a natural procrastinator, especially with chores or school work, but, of course, it never ends well.
