The fading boy
Like a chasm that
light won’t go in,
Like a running fire, springing from the inside,
shining the outside.
Like a beacon, standing still on the sea,
Guiding the lost cockleshell.
The field is white, the air is solid,
The footprints jump out one by one.
Memory is bad, future is bright,
This seems sarcastically sad, but claiming the centerpiece
of the fading boy.
