Love is a lie
for a foolish believers cry
To a sons wishful part
and a daughters broken heart
A lie fooling oneself
whispered from books lying on the shelf
That our love lies in the future
claiming waiting’s the 'must' order
Does such a thing exist for everyone?
surely one or two must end alone
as the other tries with a ship doomed to sink
Doomed to tears like ink
forever they try
Why?
