Is left right?
Heavy teardrops, fall to my feet
I can’t seem to recall, where I am, at what street
Should I go left or should I go right,
because what if I lose,
this inner fight
What if I simply go wrong?
I will always ask: „do I belong?“
The path ahead, is filled with such dread
My heart weighs me down, so deep, I almost drown
I hope someone sees me, gasping for air
I’m suffocating in this world, that I cannot bear
Silent screams, echo through the infinite sea
And I ask myself, if I had gone right, where would I be?
Would I be myself, or a different me?
Would I actually and truly be happy?
Or would I still have followed the call of the sea?
In this void, no answer rings back
So I’ll never know about the right track
But I hope one day, I will arise
Having learnt something new, a little more wise
What do you think, would you reappear? Or simply sink and shed a tear?

We always question ourselves, never sure if we made the right choice and thinking: what if I had chosen differently? Maybe we should ask ourselves if the other path would have truly been better. You wouldn’t be who you are right now if you hadn’t. These realisations show your strength and knowledge, appreciate them.
