Your hands were warm,

intertwined with mine,

and you were sparkling

like a new galaxy

colliding with mine.

In all of our ashes

and our old ruins,

we were only ever

stars crashing,

constellations bursting.

You reached for me

like gentle gravity,

capturing me like

a shooting star

in your atmosphere.

I love space metaphors, and your poem was the best example of one! The language you used was so soothing.
