Soulless soul

I would be alright
If I had the strength to fight
but I am weak
and I have lost
and look at what it cost
my heart and my hope
has turned into a rope
and it slowly starts to choke me
so I cannot breathe
Give me air
so that I can
fill my lungs with life
and feel no more
the stabbing knife
inside my core
so oh please
hear me plead
so I can feed my hollow soul
this is my only, desperate goal
All my screams and tired cries
make me tell one-hundred lies
I don‘t want you to know
who I am
I don‘t want to show
my crushing empty, soulless soul
