A new reality.

I read to get away
to enter a reality
that is not here
when I read I
put myself in
that world
the longer the
book is the better
it gets
the more characters
to fall in love with
the more invested I am
when I cry over a
book I'm not over-
dramatic or silly
I empathise with the
person who is hurt
I mourn the life loss
because I am placed
in the story
in the end a book
is not just a book
it's a reality waiting
to be seen
