A Story
A good book may be a memory,
A thought,
A wish,
Hopes and dreams of someone,
Longing to share their secrets.
Expressing an emotion,
Telling a tale,
Looking into someone's moment,
Once theirs, now shared.
They say a story should have,
A beginning, middle, end,
Sentences, paragraphs, punctuation.
But a strict structure does not befit,
For a good story should float, flit,
Across the page,
Flowing through space, time, age.
