“Your”Role
Your views and words change and alter My thoughts and feelings to no degree There is no room for guesses
And no space for messes
I can only hear and accept For that is all that I can see Out of my little dark cage.
Passing out the thoughts
And pressuring the views
The media changes a lot of what is true But there are still facts
Which needs us to act
To find what equality
Truly should be.
The job as a changer,
A shifter of mind, to persuade And change is what you do.
Give us facts, show us unbalance. Holy will of god, pass it on to us.
God made us equal and equal we shall, We have just yet to realized that.
Nature has its ways
And respect that we will
But you must show us the path
And lighten our way.
We wander in darkness, blind
Stalking back and forth in our cage, confined. Set us free and show us the way
And we will put all inequality to shame.
Showing the scenes Of women and men Being treated different For all of us to see.
To spark a rise of revolution and to end this problem forever. That is your role.
You let us know of
What is at stake
and be certain of
what you all say,
let us know the facts to act
and the sympathy to make it match. then, will be we break the tide.
The crushing of stereotypes
And the challenge of the norms
Content changes and creates new laws.
To defy nature and shift the views and
Wish no more for a circus of roar with only pity. Alter the audience and put some sense
Into the traditions that cloud their head
And clear the mind to see new ways
To let us know of what it should be.
The crowd may think of another breeze But you must come with torrents that seize Our brain our mind our body and soul
To make us see outside our cage.
Know that though the screens show truth They may also whisper and fool
To make it seem as an unbalanced world And demean men to be soft and weak. The nudge and shove that sparks the war Is all that takes for it to do.
And that will change the world. And that is your role.
