Home
This is home:
Me in your arms
And you in mine
We lay with no worry
I can hear your heart race
I look you in the eye
And see nothing but happiness
As my head rests on your chest.
I move up a few inches
So I nussle perfectly in the nape of your neck
My fingers run through your soft hair
Your fingers caress my back ever so gently
As I drift peacefully to sleep
Me in your arms
And you in mine:
You are home.

This poem is about the person who is just as comforting as a home should be. If you don't have a comforting home, they become your home. And it's lovely.
