Changing Seasons of Life
While I was treading down
Through the pathway of memories
Came back sweet old childhood days
Days of fun and unlimited joy
Which seemed to last forever.
Today the scene has changed
The colors of childhood has parted ways
To bring in the neutral appearance of reality
The youthfulness of life seemed to be
Injured by harsh waves of oppression.
Aspirations and newly blossomed dreams
Have become a matter of yesterday
Today seems to rust badly
With a life still revolving the past
Clutches and breaks unable to repair.
Always it's the intellect that betrays
When your heart offers a hand of help
For love cannot be weighed
Against the intellectual thought process
Because it's the very essence of life.
