Mascara flowing down my cheeks
must've been the rain
Wet shadows floating over this city,
yet nothing to explain
Sparkling eyes behind a curtain of drops,
Amidst all these buildings, is there still hope?
I can't seem to keep my head above the water
To a blurry azure, I can only address a prayer
Splish. Splash.
Heartbeats falling into puddles
Must've been the rain
Yes, the rain has rained too much...
