Remember Me?
They always forget me, don't they?
I trusted them and it hurt
It hurt because the smiles we shared, the cries we shared, the trouble we did together
was nothing to them, but it was everything to me
I was a line in their story
just a useless memory
but to me
they were a chapter in my book
they were the moon that shined during my darkness
and now I wonder
do they remember me?
I hope they remember me even if they never want to see me
Even if I was nothing to them, they were everything to me
I loved them even when they broke me
even when they shattered me
even when they turned me down
I made sure they were loved
no matter how many gunshots it took, the stabbing, the wounds, the scars
I hope they're happy now even if I'm not

It's not your friends who stabbed you in the back. It's you for knowing you trusted too much.
