Autumn Is The Rise Of Cheer
Autumn is the rise of cheer
Though many call the cooling fall
Crisp and sweet, the breeze sighs
Leaves golden, red, and orange all
Hallow’s Eve, giving thanks- let’s toast
To the sign of mugs of cider at hand
Coming soon: the winter’s warmth
Holidays ancient, blessed, grand
And oh! Though leaves float down around
Love, can’t you see what’s happening here?
Inexorably dancing towards festive days
Yes, autumn is the rise of cheer
