Feral
Tell me.
Who, if I screamed out
would hear me
among the hierarchies of angels?
I’ve witnessed enough people out there be beasts
to know
if God truly did create us in his own image,
then God
is every bit as feral
as the things
he creates.

I once heard someone say that God must be either a monster or a beast to create the human race so twisted. Nobody came when I was falling. No divinity, and no person. This poem is a testament to all the cruelty we’ve ever witness and all the griefs that went unacknowledged.
