The Stripes I Stand For
Red, white, and blue
Your stars shine too
A country with land
Full of prairies and golden sand
Our flag sways proudly
And we all laugh loudly
Together under one nation
Said to be God’s creation
Freedom towers over us
But “family values” make a fuss
When we stand
Hand in hand
Are we really united under one waving flag
Or do we lag?
Red, white, and blue
‘Merica, I love you
Your stripes are bright
But you face a fight
Your people are divided and caged
Under the stars and bars
While the moonlight sets
And the sun glows
