enumerate
won a shallow existence
falsetto eyes i could not trust
cave in from cloudless skies
it was so clear
to me
to swim is not to stay afloat
tread lightly through
storms of
words that do not come out
i drown myself in you
three roadside gas stations
neon green and red
light me up
flames engulf you
we stop the car
for dirt staining my
dark blue denim
fingertips
intermittently woven and
torn apart
fight your freedom
the universe does not
chain you
soliloquies of a reckless heart
dissolve in me
i count the stars for you
dream until i become
your false idol
cassiopeia will close her eyes
and you will sleep again
