Here I sit on this tree stump

It is near where I live and eat

I like to walk to this stump and think

And gaze upon the sky 

Doing this brings me peace

The tree’s the air the birds and the sky

They all fall into my wandering gaze 

The tree to my left is a very dark brown

Except for the leaves which are a deep emerald green

Similar to my eyes

This stump oh this stump  

Takes me away from the modern world

As I sit on this stump

Wind blowing through my coarse hair

Here I can relax

Many times I stress about things

Like school, friends, and family

But here I am alone 

Alone with my thoughts

Calm as can be
