Old Tree
Leaves can no longer grow,
Branches continue to break.
As time passes on
The story begins to fade
A man and woman
Who are Madly in love
Visited the tree daily
With the leaves shading them
The breeze cooling them
Their initials carved
But the initials fade
So, do they
His beloved wife died young
She was struck by a car
He was struck by surprise
The initials would be the last he sees
There he was hanging from the tree
