Lost and found
I want to be lost,
To hop the fence and walk a straight line. All alone.
Being alone is important.
Only then am I real and my thoughts are clear
When lost I tend to look for you and not myself,
What I need to learn is that to be lost
Is the given opportunity to be found.
I wrote this peice while driving on a less rural side of Seattle, Washinton. Large Forests all caged in by bobwire fences. The idea of running through those woods came to me as satisfying and peaceful. The idea of being alone and able to think felt like neccesity. Maybe one day I will.
