Running Frees The Mind
So many thoughts race through my head
And I don't know what to do,
My brain feels like its overfilled
With thoughts I need to undo
When I feel like this I love to run
Just look at the sky and breathe,
Step by step the thoughts become undone
Breath by breath they start to disappear
Although it can be painful and sometimes not fun
Running really clears my head,
I could go from having the worst day of my life
To one of the best instead
Miles go by and I feel like I’m free
From the problems life has thrown my way,
As long as I am running I know I will be fine
But once I stop I am thrown back into my problems again

This poem really expresses how much running has helped me get through all the tough times in my life and how much I love to run
