Love cannot heal me
People say.
“You cannot love anything or anyone until you love yourself”.
Well they lied.
There are people out there just like you.
Just like me.
Who hate themselves just as much.
Love cannot heal me.
Because love... is what broke me.
“Love” broke me down.
Into the deepest pits of hell.
Left me there to defend myself, made me doubt myself.
“Love” is something I will never understand.
Because no one ever gave it to me… genuinely.
Even if you did I wouldn't be able to tell.
I don't know when someone genuinely cares.
