Her Shining Silver Face
Ocean, that's his name
He is calm and furious at the same time
Cold in his heart, but warmed up by the Sun
He keeps secrets hidden deep inside of him,
Hoping no one will find and reveal them.
He’s mysterious but welcoming
His melodic voice, swinging the babies to sleep
“Shhhh, shhhhh, shhhh,” he says
Every day he waits patiently to see her
Her shining silver face appears at night
So close yet so far he wonders
He feels her company
Every day he waits, and waits
For her to make an appearance
Night by night he feels closer to her
He feels attached
But some days he wonders
Staying still, feeling lonely and unwanted
She doesn’t show up.
He feels rejected, betrayed, isolated
He feels anger inside him.
He’s furious, he starts to become wild
He screams as if he were the devil
Waking up the babies creating nightmares
He screams
He calms down from his high
Feeling sad, and hopeless.
Hiding behind the thick fog and clouds,
The Sun wakes up.
He feels depressed
The night invades
He looks at the dark empty sky
A light of hope appears
He sees her
And falls for her shining silver face again
