I am forced to love
Summer, few months back ,is far gone
You weren’t there, didn’t feel long
Painfully so
Ive started it again
They say i get it from you
Maybe so
But my cuts are deeper than yours
Every night i hear your cries
As if nobody minds
Oh it never ends
Perhaps when you pull my hair
Scratch my skin
You plan my demise
We think alike, dont we?
I am one step ahead of you
I am forced into love
Perhaps that is why i dont think its real
Momma pushes and pleads
I hate kissing you goodnight
I hate greeting you
Your arms around me feel limp
Careless
You are always somewhere above us
I dont love you
She hates when i raise my voice
she worships yours
I fight for myself
You spew ear-splitting gibberish
Both sound the same
We are too alike
I think you see it too
Somewhere in your faded, distant
Eyes you see me
Not as i am
Cold, condescending eyes glare into yours
You are still, for once
All of me wishes you’d pounce
Pull me apart, back to my foundation
You stare back, for an instant i think you ponder
But I’m alone once again,
Full of untouched complexities that
Are your one final punishment .
