You are the vanguard
Trailblaze and ride
Spearhead the beaten
Bright-faced, wide-eyed
Unknowns but an ocean
That you've yet to sail
Seize the helm and flag
And in your mind avail
Weave threads between your ears
Command lightening spark the flame
Stand proud, new captain
Mount the waves of your shame
Release yourself abroad
Bid others match your speed
For you are the vanguard
And you, my dear, will lead.
