The Rain
When you got to school
you learn about the rain cycle,
precipitation, condensation, evaporation.
But what you don't know is that rain is one of the world's hidden secrets.
The rain showers are the unseen tears.
The morning due is a reminder that your tears don't go unseen.
The soft sounds of raindrops are your lullaby to sleep.
It's the bits of comfort you feel,
your liquid sunshine.
Still so much to find out about the rain showers.
The torrents caused when rainfalls are our unseen emotions, swirling and longing to be freed.
All our hidden feelings, emotions,
tears,
and fears.
They can deluge full cities.
But, they are also the world's melodies,
the soft good morning and goodnight,
its hidden runes.
All of the world's secrets are in the rain,
and you can know them all if your just quiet,
and listen.
Listen,
to the soft humming,
Listen,
to the quiet chorus,
Listen,
to the drip,
drip,
drip,
of the rain...

Hello, and thank you for reading this. When I was little I always was scared of the rain, and the loud thunder and crashing lightning. But, as I got older, I started to grow to love it. I always then started to think about how rain is so mystical and magical. I thought about how my tears and how the rain are both water, and started to see past that. I realized hat rain grows everything, and without rain, nothing would live. I hope that you listen to the rain and appreciate it. I hope the next time you're scared, the rain will carry that with it.
