Dear Heavenly Father, …

Okay explain why am I doing this

If I am an atheist

Yeah why do I even bother talking to someone that doesn’t exists

If God is even there

Why did he put me here?

And when I pray it look like I’m talking to air

And people give me a confused stare

If heaven is up there

Then why haven’t we found it when we were up there

And why do we follow the rules that was made 1000 years ago

Nobody explained to me what God is, so….

When I ask if he’s a ghost they say no like they know

I don’t know

And when I explain to people that I don’t believe

They look at me like I’m crazy

Then they shake their head and walk away from me

I mean I have my own beliefs

I’m not trying to disrespect 

Hey I’m not perfect

Look at my perspective

It’s like learning a subject

I just don’t understand

And you think I’m committing a sin

You look at me like I worship Satan or something

Because you hear the song that I’m humming

You this is a phase 

You think I’m goanna change

But every time I go church I feel like I’m in a locked up cage

And every time you bring up God, you think I’m goanna stay?

No I’m not that way
