Imperfect

I find it interesting
that the earth's best features
lie in the imperfect places;
Where it doesn't lie flat
Mountians
Rivers
Lakes
Hills
Valleys
All of the places that are different and unique and beautiful.
-----------------------------------
Yet,
when we look at people
at their scars, bruises, birthmarks, freckles, dips, and rolls,
(at their imperfections)
we are appalled
