Forest of Forgotten Stories

Wall of branches, wall of dirt.
Wall of ashes, singed and burnt.
Spine of thick entangled vines,
Remnants as time goes by.
Abandoned wood, abandoned nails.
Abandoned lives and forgotten tales.
Swaying trees and shifting grass,
All vanished as they came to pass.
Empty silence, empty song.
Empty home of empty soul.
Music sung for centuries,
Lost fragmented memories.
Unknown people, unknown nation.
Unknown culture situation.
Here were lost the hidden glories,
Forest of forgotten stories.
