Height
My family is like plants growing in the steamy, sunny, summer - all as diverse as the melting pot of America but still very similar. My dad is the tallest - tall as an oak tree. An owl, sturdy and wise- always knowing what’s best for the family. My mom is like a raspberry bush, a little wild and out of control, but sweet with a touch of tartness inside. My older sister, Anna is like a sunflower, tall, bright, and beautiful - full of the afternoon sun, craving the heat and light. My brother, Isiah is like a Cat tail - tall, thin, and dark colored - peacefully doing his own thing. My little sister, Adeline is short and skinny like a wildflower, untamed, vibrant, she beats to her own drum. I am like a lotus flower, short - I have been able to survive and thrive despite rough and harsh conditions. We are like plans growing on a steamy, sunny, summer day, unique yet rooted together.
