scars
the angel that appeared in my dreams
gave me a placid advice
oh I’ll be there
just carry on with a surprise.
I ripped the sutures open
blood oozed from places
where they tried to kill me.
the bed was red in honour
of the funeral
the spirits had made for me.
this was the start and the end
you have to endure
the pain and memories
my ol friend.
the pothole was filled
the magical dust swept over
the blood was concrete
scars were born
being a mother of thousands
I took care of them.

It's about learning from the past and going forward in life no matter the adversity. I feel that scars should not be looked down upon as they remind us of our memories.
