Just A Dream
We waltz through the fields, as the sun slowly fades; You lift my face to yours and I hold your gaze;
My heart is a-flutter; My feet can't touch the ground; But this only happens when you are around;
My head rests on your shoulder; Your fingers slowly glide through my hair, as you pull me closer;
As you whisper the words 'I love you'; I cry happily, knowing that what you say is true;
As your lips reach for mine, our fingers intertwine; Now I know that not everything is what it seems...because alas...it was just a dream;
