The Feeling Of
FEAR is, not knowing the future, but knowing you can’t fix the past.
Living every day and not knowing if it’s your last.
Leaving for school unsure if you’ll come back home.
FEAR is the unknown.
ANXIOUSNESS is not being able to wait for a number, a position, a chair.
Four years of practice don’t fail me now.
Being ahead of someone based on talent and a test?
No thanks, unless I pass.
ANXIOUSNESS is authority.
JOY is being able to paint my feeling out on a piece of paper.
Colors,shading,lines, and strokes.
Starting on white, ending on a rainbow.
JOY is art.
PROUD is knowing that you just did something that you’ve been afraid to do
your whole life. And you made it.
And you’ll be making it for the rest of your life.
PROUD is not having stage fright.
And knowing that you never again will.
