My Own Specific Mold
I don't want to be the annoying type who never shuts up
The one who says too much and isn't missed when she's gone
I don't want to be a replaceable yapping in your ear
I want to be a special girl who you long to have near
I don't want to be the kind who stresses about looks
Makeup and pimples- I'd rather hide my face in a book
I don't want to giggle like a little phony quack
I want to laugh my loudest at every joke you crack
I don't want to be like any girl you've ever met before
I'm the kind of girl who can open her own door
Thanks, but I can pump the gas on my own
I'm not afraid to get dirty and I can do it alone
I want to be something magical that swirls into your world
Not to be expected, a sparkling sound you've never heard
I don't want to fit a cliche or a stereotypical hold
The only thing I'll ever fit is my own specific mold
