Freedom
They say they fought for freedom
They say they bought us liberty
They say they died just for us
But I say, are we free?
It seems to me that we are slaves
Chained by lies and misery
Our feet caught in stocks of fear
Tell me how can we be free?
We must make a conscious effort
To change our state of mind
We must get rid of certain things
To rid of ropes that bind
To be or not to be
Since that is the question
We have to choose the way of freedom
Without any hesitation
To be free we must let go of
The hate
The anger
The fear
The pain
The indecison
We must let go
Then, and only then, can we be free
