My Kind
I tend to fall for those who will never feel the same way
Maybe it's a choice that I make for myself
Sometimes it feels like I will worry my whole life away
This isn't something you can choose for yourself
My life isn't laid out for me to see
It is set out for your poking and prodding
I never wanted this for me
You continue your forceful nodding
You act like you understand my words
But you will never get my choice
I wish that I could just fly with the birds
Maybe if I was in the sky with them in, you could hear my little voice
This is my kind of love
It is too bad that it never seems to fit like a glove
