A Child
A child who is unloved and lied to,
A child who has nothing to do.
She goes to school,
only to be thrown around by some fool.
A child who keeps to herself,
and talks to no one else.
A child who grows to be a teen,
A child is no longer seen.
Her wish is to have it good,
just like she should.
Her dream is to be accepted by that boy,
but to him she is nothing but a toy.
Her birthday wish is that line that was never said,
it was replaced by something hurtful instead.
Her nightmare is feeling alive,
because when she does she can barely survive.
